Paul Sunpanich grew up in a small city in Los Angeles County called West Covina, California. He grew up in a household of six which included his parents and was the youngest of three other siblings. Growing up, he signed up for as many different activities as he could such as a multitude of sports, marching band, academic clubs, and volunteer work as this temple. His insatiable desire to learn and grow was wired since birth. His role models pushed him to become super competitive in nature.
Exactly one year after Paul graduated from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army National Guard Active First Program. His first deployment was to Germany for 8 months and then spent the remainder of the year in Fort Bliss, Texas. While he was there, he re-enlisted and extended his contract for another two years in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. During his last years in the Army, he was a Military Police Officer and earned the rank of Sergeant E-5 pay grade. As a leader, he developed and trained multiple soldiers. He earned multiple decorations for his advanced training and leadership schooling the military provided which included 8 Week Warrior Leadership Courses, Airborne Badge, Air Assault Badge, K-9 Training, and Advanced Weapon Training.
Paul transitioned out of the military into a student; he attended Rio Hondo Community College in Whittier, CA where he studied Communication with a concentration in Political Science. He had the ambition to get his degree in a field where he could talk to people and have a voice. He finished his education with a Bachelors of Art for transfer to California State University, Fullerton. He was part of the Speech Club and entered into multiple Parliamentary Debate Tournaments which drove him to practice what he learned in the classroom into practical critical thinking skills.
Today, Paul wakes up every day excited to create new and more opportunity for as many people who are willing and has grit. Being able to see people develop because they have their “WHY” excites him. These are the types of people he is willing to work overtime for to help equip, train, and develop into the man or woman that they want to become. He understands the importance of doing the right thing at all times, especially when nobody's watching.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys being free in having a flexible schedule to fit his routines and lifestyles. He reads on a daily basis because he enjoys growing through the knowledge of others; self-help books such as “Relentless” by Tim Grover or stories of people’s successes and struggles help him with building a better perspective on the world. Other than reading books, he enjoys spending time in the gym. When you feel good, you look good, when you look good and feel good, you will play good…
